Our escape in Portree exceeded expectations! The warm staff made us feel at home, especially Laura, who took time to recommend local attractions and even provided us with a custom map. The dining experience featured an amazing fish dish, worth every penny. Highly recommend exploring the area!

amazing harbor views and easy walking to attractions
I truly enjoyed the perfectly appointed outdoor seating area that offers stunning views of the harbor, and I was thrilled to find that major attractions like Scorrybreac and The Lump are just a few steps away, making it simple to explore the beautiful landscapes of Portree on foot during my stay.

The location boasts stunning views of the harbor, with a spacious lawn that's perfect for unwinding with drinks. The hotel has a cozy bar area and a restaurant that offers excellent vistas, making it an inviting spot to relax after a long day.
Breakfast service felt rushed and disorganized. hot items frequently arrived before pastries and cereals, which were often scarce. The dinner experience left something to be desired. meals were over-salted, and for the price, expected more refinement in presentation and taste. Though our room was fine, the decor lacked a spark, coming off as somewhat dated with no distinctive character.

A prime choice for a couple of nights in Portree with good value for cost. The views over the bay were stunning and the hotel was spotless. Consider trying the local seafood dishes!

The harbor view from the room is nothing short of mesmerizing, offering a stunning panorama that makes any early morning or late evening special. Spacious rooms provide plenty of comfort for couples or families, especially after a long day exploring.
Breakfast service fell short, with slow coffee delivery that made the start of the day feel sluggish. The breakfast itself lacked variety, leaving out basic items like cereal, while hot food struggled to arrive timely. Dinner at The View restaurant disappointed, and during our stay, the storm showcased poor insulation. drafty, unsealed windows made rooms uncomfortable and too noisy when trying to sleep. The heater in one room didn’t work, which severely impacted elderly family members in our party. while functional, the amenities felt like they needed attention, and the restaurant views were often obscured by hazy windows.

It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly, it was worth every penny.
